Portugal played an execelent volleyball in this first set. The all team was very concentrated, and didn't made any errors. Manuel Silva was excelent in the attack and blocking, but the all team was also great specially in the reception. Cuba made lots of errors, many of them caused by the good plays by Portugal. So Portugal won this set by 25/18.
The second set was different. Cuba awoke, and played the volleyball they use to play, that means, an execlent volleyball, specially in serving and in blocking. Angel Dennis was very good in the attacking and blocking. The Portuguese squad made many errors in the reception and also in the attack. Cuba won this set by 25/17.
In the beggining of the third set the game was very ballanced. Then Cuba took ahed with the popwerfull services by Angel Dennis and kept that advantage untill the end. Portugal played well, but with to many errors in service.
The last set was almost like the third, very balanced, with Cuba taking the advantage early in the set, but with the Portugueses recovering the disavantage, with Manuel Silva almost perfect in the attack, and Roberto Reis very well in the service. But in the end Cuba was stronger and won this set and match.
