"The first match of the day between Yugoslavia and Brazil was very important. Both teams needed a win. Yugoslavia because of keeping their changes on the final, and Brazil to stay in the tournemant for Sunday. In the first set both teams stayed equel till 20-20. When Dante failed on the right side of the net and Vujevic produced an ace the Yugo's took the set win. After taking a three points lead in the beginning of the second set by Yugoslavia two bad attacks in a row of Vusurovic and Miljkovic puted Brazil at 21-21 again next to Yugoslavia. Just in time Vlademir Grbic produced a deciding powerfull strike (30-28). In the tird period Brazil was to weaken to make it the Yugo's difficult (25-16)."
